Yes — and it is the best way to stop depending on taxis. During the Festival, MIPIM or Cannes Lions, book several days ahead: scooters go fast. We have yours ready for an express pick-up at 4 rue Georges Clemenceau, two minutes from the Palais des Festivals, helmets and top case set to go.
Which scooter can I ride on an ordinary car licence?
With a car licence you can ride a 50cc straight away: the SYM Fiddle IV 50, from €35 a day, zips from the Palais des Festivals to the Croisette and parks anywhere. For a 125 like the PCX or Forza, you need a car licence held for over two years plus the French seven-hour training course. Bring your licence at pick-up.
Where do I park the scooter near the Palais des Festivals?
A scooter is unbeatable here: two-wheeler bays are dotted around the Palais des Festivals and along the Croisette, with no meter for motorbikes. You park a few steps from your meetings, where a car would circle for ages. Always set the lock and stow your helmet in the top case we provide.
