The house, since 1951

Rent a bike in Cannes and see the town as it is meant to be lived: at sea level, at the pace of café terraces and palm trees. Since 1951, Mistral Location has been equipping visitors and locals at 4 rue Georges Clemenceau, 50 metres from the Old Port and two minutes from the Palais des Festivals. City bikes, hybrids, mountain bikes and carbon road bikes are checked every morning; a certified helmet and a sturdy lock are always included.

From the Forville market to the Midi beaches, the whole centre rides flat — and the Croisette unrolls its three seafront kilometres all the way to Palm Beach. Road cyclists are looked after too: our carbon Wilier GTR Team and Giant Defy are ready for the Estérel and the Grasse hinterland. Before you set off, we take the time to suggest the route that matches your legs, your schedule and your mood.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Rates, licences, deposits: answers to what we hear most often at the counter.

How much does bike rental cost in Cannes?

City bikes start at €10 per day, hybrids and mountain bikes at €20, and carbon road bikes at €45. Rates go down as soon as you rent for several days. For the exact price on your dates, online booking shows live availability and rates.

What is included in the rental price?

Every bike leaves with a certified helmet — two if you wish — and a sturdy lock. Brakes, tyres and drivetrain are checked every morning before you set off: there is nothing to add to ride around Cannes and the Croisette with peace of mind.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is taken at pick-up as a credit-card pre-authorisation — nothing is actually charged. The amount depends on the bike: higher for a carbon road bike than for a city bike. It is released when the bike comes back in good condition.

Can I rent for a day, a weekend or a week?

Of course: rentals run from a single day to long stays, with decreasing rates. You can collect your bike from 9:30 am and return it until 6:30 pm. For an extended stay in Cannes, get in touch and we will put together a tailored rate.

Should I book ahead?

It is recommended, especially from May to September and during the Festival and major congresses. Booking online takes two minutes and guarantees your bike at the time you want; you can also call +33 4 93 39 33 60 or reach us on WhatsApp.

Which rides do you recommend from the shop?

The Croisette out to Palm Beach is the classic: flat, continuous, facing the sea. We also love the Old Port – Suquet – Forville market loop and the seafront ride towards Mandelieu-la-Napoule. Before you leave, we point you to our favourite routes for your level and the time you have.

Can I rent a bike for half a day in Cannes?

Our rentals run by the day: collect your bike from 9:30 am and return it until 6:30 pm — plenty of time for the Croisette, Le Suquet and the Midi beaches. If you only need a few hours, call us on +33 4 93 39 33 60 and we will work something out.
